Furnished Extended Stays in Columbia, Kentucky

A comfortable place to land when Columbia is more than a weekend stop

Some trips are measured in weeks instead of nights. You may be in Columbia for a temporary work assignment, a project, a move, a family transition, a longer campus visit, or simply need a furnished place while life is in between addresses. Kozy Haven offers private cabins and homes that give you room to settle in without committing to a traditional apartment lease.

Our extended-stay guests get the same simple approach we use for every Kozy Haven stay: a private place, easy arrival, useful everyday comforts and real people to contact if you need help. Browse our cabins and homes to get a feel for the different spaces available.

Furnished stays that still work after the first week

If you are comparing a furnished rental, monthly rental or extended-stay hotel in Columbia, the little things start to matter quickly. Having your own kitchen, reliable Wi-Fi, convenient parking and a private space to come home to can make a longer assignment feel much easier.

• Private cabins, tiny homes and a larger farm house with no shared hotel hallway
• Kitchen or kitchenette options for preparing meals during longer stays
• Wi-Fi and TV for downtime and staying connected
• Private parking and simple self check-in
• Linens and towels provided
• Pet-friendly options when your dog or cat needs to come with you
• Different property sizes for one person, couples, families or small groups

Features vary by property, so we will help you choose the space that makes sense for the way you will actually be living while you are here.

Kozy Haven is based in Columbia, making it a practical home base for people working, studying, visiting family or handling a temporary assignment in Adair County and the surrounding South Central Kentucky area. You can stay close to town while still having the privacy and breathing room that comes with your own cabin or home.

Who chooses an extended stay at Kozy Haven?

There is no single type of longer-stay guest. We regularly think about the needs of people whose visit is practical first, but who still want a comfortable place to live while they are here.

• Traveling professionals and temporary employees
• Contractors and project-based workers
• Medical professionals on temporary assignments
• People relocating to Columbia or waiting on a home to be ready
• Families between homes or handling repairs
• Parents, faculty and other visitors who need more than a short campus stay
• Guests who simply need a furnished place for several weeks or longer

Weekly and monthly stays are handled a little differently

Longer reservations are not always best handled like a two-night vacation booking. Dates, property fit, number of guests, pets and the length of your stay can all affect which option makes the most sense. For that reason, we encourage extended-stay guests to tell us what they need before assuming the nightly rate is the best available option.

Send us your approximate arrival and departure dates, how many people will be staying, whether you are bringing pets and what brings you to Columbia. We can look at the available Kozy Haven properties and help you find the best fit. Ask about an extended-stay rate, or check live availability if you already know your dates.

Stay somewhere that can feel like home for a while

A longer stay does not need to feel temporary every time you walk through the door. Whether you are here for work, family, school or a transition, Kozy Haven gives you a private place to unpack, cook a meal, park close by and settle into your own routine while you are in Columbia.
